Shear pump is a kind of high performance homogenizing & emulsifying equipment used in dispersing, emulsifying and grinding materials during continuous production or cyclic treatment.

Its key element are 1~3 groups of multi-layer rotors engaged each other and stators;

A certain number of thin and long openings are cut out in the circumferences of rotors and stators. When the rotors rotate at high speed, the strong centrifugal force is formed, makes the processed material spray out the of the rotary, thin and long openings (gaps) and bear two actions: the normal action forcing it to pass through gaps and the resistance obstructing it from passing through gaps. Furthermore, when spraying out of gaps, the processed material bears the shearing action of gaps and the rotational shearing force due to the relative movement between rotors and stators, thus the material gets homogenization and emulsification under the above said forces.
